Your Questions Answered

[spacer height=”20px”]

What happens if I miss a live session because of work commitments?

[spacer height=”20px”]

While I’d prefer it if you participated in the class (to take advantage of the live chat session), I understand that the unforeseen can happen, so….
… no problem. Each session will be recorded and you will have access to the recording. The recording will allow you to complete the assignment given. You will also receive any documents discussed during the lesson to help you complete the assignment.
 [spacer height=”20px”]

What if I can’t complete one assignment? Does that mean I don’t have the Certificate of Completion?

This course is different in that it requires you to practise what you learned in class. It’s only by doing that you’ll truly learn to feel confident when giving presentations in English.
The more you put in, the more you’ll get out of the course. It’s your choice.
Having said that, if you really cannot complete an assignment, you will receive the Certificate anyway. You’re not in school!
However, if you think you won’t have time to complete ANY of the assignments, you won’t get the most out of the course and it could be a waste of your time and money.

 [spacer height=”20px”]

How long do I have to complete the assignments? Do they have to be completed after each module and before the next?

The assignments you’ll be given are short and won’t take you very long to prepare, but if you are running out of time you can prepare the assignment when you can.
As I said before, you’re not at school and you won’t be penalised! However, like everything in life, the more you practise, the more you’ll see the benefit and improvement.

[spacer height=”20px”]

What level of English should I have to follow the course?

I have designed this course for strong intermediate learners and above (CEFR B1 and over).
The reason for this is that you need to have a basic grasp of English grammar and English sentence structure to complete the course. After all, you need to be able to speak clearly.
If you find it difficult to structure sentences in English and you don’t understand the English tense system (you don’t have to be an expert in this!), you could find the course too difficult for you.
 [spacer height=”20px”]

I am interested in the course but I can’t make the dates of the course. Will you be running this course in the future?

Yes, I plan to run this course again in early 2017 so don’t worry if you can’t make it this time. I would recommend you join the VIP list anyway (see below) so that you are the first to know when I plan to re-launch the course.

[spacer height=”20px”]

What happens if I pay for the course but have to cancel it? Will I get a refund?

This course is limited to 15 places and is on a first come first served basis. Once the places are filled, I will close the enrolment.
If you think there is a chance you may have to cancel the course, I would ask you to give me 48 hours’ notice. That way I can offer the place to someone else on the waiting list. I will then offer you a FULL refund.
If, however, you cancel within 48 hours (after 25 September) of the start of the course, you will not be eligible for a refund.

[spacer height=”20px”]

What happens if I only manage to do one lesson and can’t make the other lessons? Can I cancel and get a partial refund?

Once the course starts I’m afraid there will be no refunds if you have to cancel mid-course
